~We all find life to be a struggle at times. We need to be resolute and stick to the truth. Consider the postage stamp. You buy it at the post office, stick it on your letter and put it in the mailbox. The postman collects it, it gets dropped, stuffed in a bag, get slung around and poured out with all the other letters into the sorter.
It gets poured into a machine that straightens it up, gets it facing the right way, gets dragged into the machine that puts on a postmark, gets stuffed into a bag ready to be tossed onto the truck. The bag may be rained on, run over, dropped, and it’s journey may not be over. It may be thrown on a boat, a train or plane before it reaches a destination and that poor stamp still must resolutely stick to your letter.
Like that stamps sticks resolutely to the letter through all it’s various trials, we must do the same and be resolved to stick to the truth no matter what happens. Stick to Jehovah, he will never let us take more than we can endure.
